Allie and Rians Camp Day 3!
Hello Everyone!
Day 3 was a whirlpool of fun! We were very busy today with many different activities. We got an up close and personal look at the fish that we can find along the B.C. coast and had snack amongst our seals and California Seal Lion. The 4D film “Splashes and Bubbles” was a whale of a time! We also got a behind the scenes look at our fish lab where baby fish are raised for research and the galleries. Before lunch we dissected a herring. Ask your camper if their herring was a boy or a girl, and how they knew! After lunch we spent a lot of time on the beach lifting rocks to see what creatures we could find. Sea stars and crabs were the absolute favorites. Ask your camper what creatures they found!
Tomorrow is our theme day. Campers are invited to wear any costume they choose. Also, weather permitting, we will be headed down to the water park. Please dress your camper in their bathing suit with clothing/costume over top. Remember to pack extra clothes/undies and a towel. Also a reminder that camp is nut free and this does include hazel nuts (Nutella)!
