Hi campers & parents!

We had another turtle-y awesome day at camp!

What did we do today?

• To start off the day, we went and looked at all the animals on our marine mammal deck such as sea otters, sea lions, penguins and a dolphin!
• We dissected a squid where we got to learn all about the animal's anatomy and some other cool facts
• We drew different sea creatures on the sidewalk with chalk before playing a game of Octopus
• After lunch, we went on a beach walk where we got to see a bunch of different sea creatures such as sea stars, sea snails, and crabs
• To finish off the day, we worked on our logbooks and read a story after reflection

Questions to ask your AquaCampers:

1. How many crabs/animals did you see at the beach?
2. What was your favorite animal that you saw this morning?
3. Was your squid a boy or a girl?
4. What does the squid feel like?

We had a "splash" today! Just a reminder to all campers that tomorrow will NOT be waterpark day due to the unfortunate weather.  Please help your campers to dress appropriately for the weather to help them have another "otter-ly" incredible day at camp.
