Hi campers & parents!

Today was our first day of a camp and we enjoyed meeting you all!

What did we do today?

• After going over camp expectations, we explored our Amazon gallery where we got to see a bunch of really cool animals such as sloths, snakes, and birds!
• Next, we came up with our team names: Ashley’s camp = the super sea lions, Gloria’s camp = the sneaky sharks
• After we worked on our logbooks which the campers will be bringing home at the end of the week 
• Next, we dissected a herring and learned all about its anatomy 
• In the afternoon, we went on a beach walk before coming back to the aquarium for a quick seahorse paper plate craft
