Hey campers and parents! 

It was a splashtastic first day of AquaCamps! 

We started off the day visiting the Treasures of B.C. coast where we learned about some of the ocean creatures that live nearby. 

After our snacks, we did a squid dissection where we learned how to recognize different parts of the squid and learned how they use camouflage to protect themselves from predators. 

After having lunch, we went on a beach walk where we found crabs, seastars, and more! 

We’re so excited for day 2!
