Hi campers & parents!

We had a CRAB-ulous day at camp!

What did we do today?

• In the morning, Ashley’s camp went to the Treasures of BC Coast gallery where we saw many of the animals that we got to touch in  the wet lab!  Allie’s camp explored the Frogs gallery, and met our dolphin Helen!
• Then, we pretended to work at the Marine Mammal Rescue Center where we rescued, rehabilitated and released different animals back into the wild
• After, we went into Wet Lab 2 where we got to see and touch a bunch of super cool sea creatures such as sea cucumbers, sea stars, urchins and crabs
• Before lunch we made sea otter paper bag puppets - they looked "otter-ly" awesome
• Next, we went on a forest walk and explored nature
• To finish off the day, we made art projects using nature such as leaves, pinecones, and grass
