Hi everyone!

We had a fin-tastic Tuesday today!

In the morning we visited our marine mammals including otters, dolphins, and harbour seals. We also got super lucky and got to watch Señor Cinco our rescued California sea lion meet Ashby, one of our female stellar sea lions for he first time which went very well. After we learned about sea lion calls and noise pollution with a game of Ark, Bark, Snark! 

At our squid dissection we got an up-close look at the inner anatomy of a squid including its beak, ink sac, and chromatophores. Ask your camper how many hearts a squid has. 

In the afternoon we had experimental design with sea urchins where we found out what kind of environments they prefer. Ask your camper what experiment they designed and what the urchin chose.
