Hey AquaCamps!
We made the best of our rainy Wednesday today with lots of activities.
In the morning we read a story with a super friendly harbour seal puppet who taught us all about some of the creatures who live in our oceans. We then explored our Treasures of the BC Coast Gallery to find out what kind of life surrounds us here in Vancouver.
We had some playtime in Clownfish Cove which was super fun! After, we got an exclusive look behind the scenes in our jelly hallway which was filled with many different types of jellyfish who are currently being bred and studied for research by our biologists.
In the afternoon we had our squid dissection which gave us an up-close look on how a squid is structured. We also went to the Meet a Penguin Show to see Sechelt, the African penguin do some exploring with his trainer.
Remember tomorrow is waterpark day and campers need to wear there swimsuit underneath their clothes and bring a towel and water shoes.
See you then,
-Shelly and Cassy
