Hey Otters Squad and Parents!

We had an awesome first day at camp today!

What we did today

• We had a camp intro 
• Visited our frogs habitat and the vortex exhibit and learned about amphibians and garbage in our oceans.
• Had our snacks. 
• Dissected a squid and learned what makes them efficient ocean predators
• After having our delicious lunches, we played a game of sea star tag and then went and explored our wetlab. 
• We finished our day by playing crab tag and deep sea adaptations game. 

Some questions to ask your camper:

• What was the coolest part of the squid that you dissected?
• What type of adaptations do deep sea animals have to endure the harsh environment?
