Shelly and Maddy's Camps day 3
Hello!
We had a very busy and event filled third day here at camp. One highlight was our squid dissections where we got to examine and search for all the different body parts of the squid such as the pen, beak, and ink sack to name just a few.
Out on the field we learned about sea turtle migration and lifecycle with a game of turtle hurdles before heading on a field trip offsite to the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre. There we got a tour from volunteers and visited some rescued, and super cute seals! Reminder that MMR is a quarantined location so make sure your camper takes a shower and washes their camp shirt before re-entering the aquarium tomorrow.
Tomorrow is costume day for the last day of AquaCamps and we would love to see you dressed up in whatever costume you would like.
