Ashley and Jaclyn's Camps: Day 3 of Camp
Hi campers & parents!
We had another turtle-y awesome day at camp!
What did we do today?
- To start off the day, we went to the Tropics gallery where we got to see cool creatures such as sharks, garden eels, and a sea turtle
- We spent some time in Clownfish Cove pretending to rescue animals at the Marine Mammal Rescue Center
- Next, we completed a herring dissection where we got to learn about the anatomy of a herring
- We had a leader led puppet show where we learned about the lives of different mammal
- Later before lunch, we got to look at a Giant Squid beak (the mouth piece of a squid)
- After lunch, we spent our afternoon doing crafts and staying out of the rain
