Camp today was a blast despite the super rainy start!

In gallery time this morning we checked out our BC coast exhibits and got a surprise visit from our Pacific Octopus. We also visited our frog collection and stopped by Vortex, our current art installation here in the aquarium. 

After that we got to watch our 2 juvenile walruses in their training session today where they did some super cool tricks and vocalizations while we learned all about their species and the cool research they’re participating in with our biologists. 

Once the rain cleared up, we went on our beach walk where we found some new friends including sea stars, crabs, and even gunnels!
