Happy Wednesday everyone!

Our day at camp was otter-Ly amazing!

We went on a awesome beach walk and found lots of cool creatures including crabs, sea stars, urchins, sea cucumbers and clams. Ask your camper what kind of things they saw on the beach. 

After lunch we did our herring dissection and learned all about the inner workings of this fish and got a close up look inside it. Ask your camper how to tell the difference between a male and a female herring.

We finished up our day with a camp wide game of survival where we played herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores in a competition to see who could survive while searching for food and water and avoiding predators and natural disasters. It was lots of running and of course lots of fun!
