Hi campers & parents!

We had an a-RAY-zing day at camp!

What did we do today?

• In the morning, Ashley's camp explored the Marine Mammal deck where we got to see sea otters, sea lions and penguins!  Allie's camp got to explore the Treasures of BC Coast gallery where they got to see sea cucumbers, a variety of fish and sea stars!
• Then, we played a game about how penguins find food in the wild during a leader led game of "Penguin Ice Hop."  Also we played some Octopus Tag.
• In the afternoon, we explored the beach and had a CRAB-ulous time.  We found lots of sea stars, snails, crabs, and a sea cucumber!
• To finish off the day, we read some stories before sign-out

We had a CRAB-ulous day at camp today!  Just a reminder that we will be going to the waterpark tomorrow afternoon if the weather is nice.  If campers could please wear their bathing suits underneath their clothes and bring lots of water and sunscreen tomorrow.  Also, tomorrow is costume day!  Campers can wear whatever costume or outfit that they like to camp however it is not mandatory.  See you all tomorrow morning!
