Ashley and Pam's Camps: Day 1
Hi campers & parents!
Today was our first day of a camp and we enjoyed meeting you all!
What did we do today?
- We explored our Tropics gallery where we got to see a green sea turtle, some sharks and some sea horses
- Next, we went into Wet Lab 2 where we got to see and touch lots of different animals such as sea urchins, sea anemones, sea cucumbers, and sand dollars!
- Before lunch, we played some active running games before working on our logbooks! - the campers will be taking these home on Friday
- In the afternoon, we had a leader led puppet show where we learned about mammals and other animals that live in the sea
- To finish off the day, we attended the Meet a Penguin program where we got to see a penguin up close and personal
