Hey everyone!

We had a fin-tastic day at camp today! In the morning we explored the Amazon gallery filled with friends like butterflies, two-toed sloths, tortoises, and even a caiman! Some campers even got to watch one of our divers go in to clean a tank. 

After that, we had a camp wide game of survival where we played as either herbivores, omnivores, or carnivores and competed for food, water, and prey. Ask your camper what role they played and what they needed to find to survive. 

After lunch we had experimental design where we tested what living conditions our green sea urchins prefer. Ask your camper about what experiment they did and what their urchin chose. 

Our day finished off with a game of marine mammal trainer where we learned some of the strategies our trainers use to train our marine mammals and practiced them with our fellow campers before heading to our stellar sea lion training session to see them in action.
