Gloria and Allie's Day 5
Hello campers and parents!
We had a "fin-tastic" final day at AquaCamps! Some of the things we did:
- visited the Tropics and Amazon where we saw black-tipped reef sharks, Schoona the sea turtle, piranhas, anacondas, many species of butterflies, sloths, and a caiman
- made thank you cards for the wet lab animals and staff for allowing us to touch cool creatures
- pretended to be penguins while playing "Penguin Ice-Hop" where we learned more about their predators, prey, and the effect of climate change on our icebergs
- played "Turtle Hurdles" where we learned more about a baby turtle's trek from the sand to the ocean!
- had a "splash" at the waterpark in the afternoon!
We hope our campers had an amazing time this week at AquaCamps! Have a safe rest of the summer!
