Allie and Marisa's Camp: Day 3
Hello Aquacampers and parents!
Today we had a SPLASH but managed to stay dry!
Here is what we did today:
-Just as the last two days, we started our day with Gallery exploration. Marisa's camper's pretended to be Marine Animal Rescuers in Clownfish Cove. Allie's camper's jumped into the frog gallery and had races with our dolphin Helen.
-We all had snack together while watching Helen play. Ask your camper what happened to her flippers!
-Then we got up close and personal with a Hawaiian stingray jaw and a Tiger Shark tooth
-Following snack, we took a tour of our Jelly Hallway, where the aquarium raises Jellys for science and display! Ask your camper what a baby jelly is called when it is swimming!
-Next we dissected a herring. Ask your camper if their herring was a girl or a boy, and how they knew!
-During lunch we read books, watched a puppet show, and did some ocean yoga.
-After lunch we headed to hang out with our Stellar Sealions where we made Otter puppets, played Arctic Maze, and watched the Sealion show
