Megan and Rian’s Camp Day 3!
Hi AquaParents!
Today we explored our marine mammal exhibits. Helen, our Pacific white sided dolphin was racing the kids and getting up close!
After that we played some super fun games with the parachute! We also did our herring dissection! We learned about gonads, cloacas, the swim bladder, ask your camper about what they saw!!
In the after noon we had a tour of the vet office. We saw some x rays and we got to listen to our own heartbeats!
In the afternoon we went on a forest walk all the way to beaver lake! We saw some forest critters and some folks from the Stanley park eco rangers taught us about beaver pelts!
Please bring appropriate footwear for the beach walk tomorrow!
