Welcome our Ocean Wise AquaVan page!

AquaVan, or Mobile Programs, is the traveling education team from Ocean Wise┬«, bringing ocean education to schools, youth groups, and communities coast to coast.

To date we have engaged over 625,000 students, youth and community members!

Where is the AquaVan right now?

The Mobile team is usually on the go; however, we have temporarily suspended programs as a preventative measure to help stop the spread of COVID-19 through our communities. Our team is now focusing on our Ocean Wise online educational programming.

To help parents, Ocean Wise Conservation Association has launched a free online ocean literacy resource called Online Oceans, bringing ocean-inspired crafts, activities, DIY videos, livestreamed learning, and more, to families around the world.

Created by Ocean Wise Educators, together with animal experts from the Vancouver Aquarium, these captivating resources are designed for kids and youth of all ages to learn the how and why of caring for the ocean, and the animals in it.

We look forward to getting back on the road soon!  Feel free to post an "AquaVan Flashback" photo in our gallery - we would love to to see your memories from our last visit! #AquaVan @oceanwise or Tweet to us  @OceanWiseEdu
