This program begins with a school-wide assembly where AquaVan Educators take students on a journey across Canada’s diverse geographic regions. We explore our country’s historic waterways, some of the animals that inhabit them, and the human impacts they face.

The second part of the program allows students to get a hands-on learning opportunity with our live animals and artifacts. Each class receives a program slot, which includes teacher-facilitated activities and interactions with our artifacts and live animal stations led by AquaVan Educators. The program includes a direct call to action for students and their families to join the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup™.
