This program begins with a school-wide assembly where Ocean Wise Educators take students on a journey across Canada’s diverse geographic regions exploring our country’s historic waterways, some of the animals that inhabit them, and the human impacts they face.

The second part of the program gives students a hands-on learning opportunity with our live animals and artifacts. Each class interacts with our Educators, artifacts and live animals. The program includes a direct call to action for students and their families, for example to join the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup™.
