eXXpedition is a series of all women voyages to make the unseen seen, from the toxics in our bodies to the plastics in our seas. Each voyage is a citizen science mission, collecting data and water samples for plastic pollution research projects. Find out more about eXXpedition here!
Emily Penn
Emily is an award-winning skipper, ocean advocate and artist dedicated to studying environmental challenges in the most remote parts of our planet. She is an advisor on issues relating to our ocean and future society and the co-Founder of eXXpedition - a series of all female voyages which focus on the relationship between plastics and toxics and female health.

Dr. Peter Ross
Dr. Peter S. Ross is the Vice-President of Research at Ocean Wise. He launched the Ocean Pollution Research Program at Ocean Wise in 2014, and continues to lead a solution-oriented microplastic pollution research program. He is an international authority in the area of ocean pollution.
