Ever wanted to learn what goes on in a hatchery?

Our November learning journey will focus on the in and outs of  hatcheries as well as the importance of salmon to the environment, economy as well as culture. We will be visiting the Noon's Creek Hatchery in Port Moody where we will learn about invasive plant removal and how eggs are taken from salmon for the hatchery. We will also be learning about DFO careers as well as the life of a fisherman.
