Hello everyone!
We had yet another otterly amazing day at Aquacamps.
We started off our day learning about our Vortex gallery and what disposing of plastic in the ocean could mean for our future.
We also visited our frogs exhibit and learned why some of our frogs are extinct or endangered.
We went to the Amazon and learned about anacondas.
After that we played some games. We played a game called Salmon Relay where we learned about the obstacles that baby and adult salmon face in their lives.
After lunch, we made paperbag blue whales.
Then we designed experiments with sea urchins and learned about sea urchin behaviour.
Questions to ask your camper:
- How can you reduce your plastic consumption?
- What scientific question did you ask about your sea urchin and what were the results of your experiment?
See you tomorrow for another toad-ally awesome day!
