Task

  1. Explore some of the debris found on Canadas shorelines with Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanups story maps.

2. Explore where and how far plastic or other marine debris can travel due to wind and currents with Plastic Adrift's interactive map. Affecting not only the ecosystem at its source but ecosystems around the world.

3. Watch a 360 degree view of the Vancouver Aquariums Marine Mammal Rescue Team disentangle a sea lion from plastic debris from humans.

4. Write a reflection to exploring these stories in the discussion thread (title your post "name" - Shoreline Debris Stories). Think about how refusing, reducing, reusing and recycling can help us tackle marine pollution and debris?
