Join an open discussion with four young storytellers who use creative media to help ensure a sustainable future. Speakers:

Jackson Madden is passionate about spreading the word about climate change through short, informative and entertaining films and took his first steps to making a difference when he created the short film “Our Climate” in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. He is currently a member of the EarthEcho Youth Leadership Council.

Laura Johnson is a lifetime ocean conservationist, and a 2016 Sea Youth Rise Up student delegate. She currently works as a Marine Science Educator at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California and is an avid digital activist and educator.

Akhila Bandlora is an environmental activist from Phoenix, Arizona who believes one of the most effective ways young people can get involved in their community and begin discussions is through art. She is a current EarthEcho Youth Leadership Council member and a 2019 Sea Youth Rise Up student delegate.

Nicola Tsiolis is World Oceans Day Youth Advisory Council member from Australia. She has a strong passion for the ocean and uses her love for photography to directly advocate for a sustainable future and abundant blue planet.
