Ive Velikova is a relentlessly curious science communicator and Masters student. Her current research looks at SciComm training opportunities for Canadian graduate students. In her freelance projects, Ive helps researchers share their science in accessible ways, from podcasts to explainer videos. On her weekly “Science Sucks” podcast, she invites guests to discuss the ups and downs of research and how it impacts our lives. An enthusiastic public speaker, Ive has spoken at the Ontario Science Centre, Story Collider, Spark After Dark, and Science Is A Drag.
