Week 1 - Friday July 14th

Hi YELP Leaders!

Thanks for an awesome last day of our week of YELP!

What did we do today?

• The day began with a trolley ride to Crab Park. Groups rotated between spending time at the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre (MMR) and time doing activities in the park.
• Activities in Crab Park included making "Thank You" Cards for guest speakers and special guests, working on our Social Media Projects, and reflecting on the many things we did and learned throughout our week.
• At MMR, we first got a tour of the facilities and an introduction to the patients at MMR including seals, a young Steller Sea Lion, and an adult California Sea Lion. After our tour we prepped food for the many seal patients currently at MMR and we scrubbed algae and seal and sea lion scat!
• What a great last day!
