Hi, my name is Rebecca Zhen I attend Britannia Secondary school, some of my favorite things to do is play video games, sleep, eat and listen to music. Some hobbies of mine are drawing, playing instruments, volunteering and etc.
Ocean Literacy Principles: 1
The principles I am most comfortable with is being able to communicate about the ocean in a meaningful way, I am able to talk about how we can better take care of our oceans and help better understand whats happening in the ocean. Being able to set examples of ways oceans help the world, and connecting oceans with other resources to further our process of helping the environment. The relationships between mountains and oceans are very important, the ice on the mountains play a critical role in regulating climate change, mountains and oceans both provide oxygen for us and oceans provide us with food that we need to survive with every day. With mountains and oceans, much wildlife has lived in mountains and oceans and are still living today, generations before us have studied the oceans and mountains and have found ways to get nutritions, build shelter and much more. I feel that following the ocean literacy principles would help with researching, connecting and helping the oceans more.
