Join Angela Danyluk, Senior Sustainability Specialist for the City of Vancouver with Kayah George, a Tsleil-Waututh youth and environmental activist, and Naomi Leung and Hannah Wicki, youth from Climate Education Reform BC to explore impacts of climate change on both the local environment and people,  and ways they are each taking action.

Angela has conducted extensive research on understanding what the local impacts of climate change could look like in Vancouver, and will be sharing some of those finding to set the stage. Then each presenter will speak to the following questions: “Why do you feel you need to take climate action in your life? How is this personal to you?” and “What have you chosen to do about it and why?”.

The presenters will take questions and provide examples of how others can get involved, from actions they themselves have taken to examples of others’ impactful actions.

Join this free session and learn about some of the work happening locally to care for the land and its people!
