After a month of looking back at Indigenous works of past and present, it’s time to look toward the future! We are passionate about uplifting Indigenous storytellers in film, video, audio, and digital and interactive practices not only in June but throughout the year. As we think about the future of Indigenous art and cinema, please join us in looking back at our past panel on the intersections between Afrofuturism and Indigenous Futurisms. This panel features Indigenous, Afro-Indigenous, and Black artists in conversation: Zainab Amadahy, Syrus Marcus Ware, Nisi Shawl, and Asinnajaq, and is moderated by Jessie Ray Short.
