Orcas in the Ucluelet Harbour

I was lucky enough to catch an hour and a half show of Orcas hunting sea lions in the Ucluelet Harbour. It was amazing to see the community come out to witness this special event. The harbour was lined with people (socially distancing of course) coming out to see the orcas, after moving here and spending my whole time as a resident of Ucluelet during a pandemic, it was really great to see how nature can bring people together. These were identified as transients and the one in the photo is believed to be T109C. My partner Selby was able to capture this close-up with her zoom lens, she also got some great footage of the takedown of the sea lion.
