My first task when starting my placement was to plan the shoreline cleanup event for \"Internation Cleanup Week.\" This very successful event had almost 40 volunteers show up to collect 680 lbs of garbage from the Rushbrook Marina, Ruhbrook Trail, and McClymont Trail. It was pouring rain (nothing new to Prince Rupert) but still a much enjoyable event! I am adjusting well to these rainy fall conditions :)
