About Me

I grew up in the Prairies of southern Alberta and I completed my undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of Alberta, Campus St. Jean, Edmonton in 2018.
I completed the Fall Program at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Center during my undergraduate degree and worked in an entomology lab at the University of Alberta.
Since graduating, I have worked as a lab manager/technician and have traveled to Fiji for a volunteer marine conservation excursion where I learned to scuba dive!
My plans for the future are to develop more skills as a biologist/conservationist in a variety of fields (from non-profits to industry) before applying for my master’s degree in marine management or fisheries science.
