Since starting my placement with Riparia, I've been largely in front of my computer screen. So I thought I'd share a photo from one of the last hikes of the season in Kananaskis country! Alberta has an abundance of crystal clear glacier-fed rivers, that all eventually drain into the Arctic ocean/Hudson's Bay. So even when I feel landlocked and disconnected from the ocean, I know that following the rivers will lead me back to the salty seas!
