This image was captured during my first event where participants were given a bit of information and were asked to reflect upon and discuss four key themes. The Walk the Watershed event appropriately was held in the pouring rain, which effectively demonstrated the complexity and problematic approaches to managing water flow within the developed portions of the watershed. It also evoked one of the themes which was "tears shed over the watershed" where we touched upon the marginalization of indigenous peoples, who were the first caregivers of the watershed.
