The banks of the Sturgeon River, located in St. Albert, Alberta. Over 235 species of birds have been recorded in the area, with some species at risk including Trumpeter Swans, Sprague's Pipets, and Peregrine Falcons. During the summer months, you can often find me running along its shorelines or watching the beavers from my canoe. I am so excited to spend the following months developing a service project to monitor the health of this beautiful watershed.
