For the month of May, along with 7 other people, I (red jacket) am living aboard Amicus 2, a 40ft steel sailboat in Lake Superior. We are sailing to various coastal communities to give presentations on climate change and plastic pollution in Lake Superior. I am currently in Duluth, Minnesota and will be crossing into Canadian waters soon! So far we have engaged with over 300 youth, and have led project startups in schools related to carbon cutting and plastic reduction. I am really thrilled to be meeting you all soon and to hear about the fantastic things happening in the world! It has only been a week so far that i am on the boat, but already feel pretty disconnected from many things, including Wi-fi! Keep doing amazing things and keeping our waters CLEAN, COLD and CLEAR!!!
