I went to a conference in Saskatoon, SK about advancing ocean literacy in classrooms. It was an engaging discussion on how this could work but there are no easy solutions and teachers already have a plethora of other things to teach. Decision makers and regulatory bodies are trying to push for environmental education so how do they tie it all in? Big questions in a small city.
