When I was on Vacation in Costa Rica, I took an hour out of my day to clean up the shore line. I removed about 4lbs of garbage (mostly plastic) that would have ended back in our oceans. I can’t stress enough that we need to take action and clean up after ourselves and each other. As simple as a 1 hour walk, I picked up over 200 pieces of garbage, a lot being broken down small pieces of plastics (lot of bottle caps & straws). It’s such a simple gesture, yet such a huge impact. I definitely got some looks from other tourists and the locals, but once they understood what I was doing a few of them thanked me. #OceanBridge2020
