This is a Thunder Bay classic. Mount McKay is traditionally known as the "Thunder Mountain" (Animikii-wajiw in the Ojibwe language and locally written as "Anemki-waucheu") and is the northernmost peak in a range known as the Nor’Wester Mountains.
