The eastcoast has some of the most beautiful beaches in Canada. This is Queensland Beach in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. Although I live in Vancouver, the home my grandparents have owned for 50 years is 2 minutes up the road from here, and I spent much of my childhood swimming in these stunning waters and combing the beach for pebbles and shells. My mom told her best friend she was pregnant with me here, she said she sad a secret and made her swim way out into the ocean to hear it. I contribute much of my love for the ocean to this pretty little beach. On a hot summer day you have to race down early if you want to get a spot on a beach like this!
