Growing my own food
Now that I have the time to slow down and mindfully create more sustainable habits, I've been working on growing my own food and biking everywhere. So far, I've been able to go everywhere either on bike or on foot this past month! What you see here is my pet project of a garden that I've been working on. It has strawberries, rhubarb, green onion, kale, broccolini, corn salad, tomatoes, and herbs (lemon balm, thyme, dill, mint). Most of these were obtained through plant trades with other people to make it a more economic and locally sourced garden. It's a lot of fun. I'd recommend trying it if you have a yard or a balcony! My windowsills are lined with plants as well.. it might have turned into a bit of an addiction this year.

I love this and couldn't have said it better myself! I have also found slowing down really wonderful for starting to bike around town and garden on the balcony.
