From Words to Action: Using the SSF Guidelines and Human Rights for Sustainable Small-Scale Fisheries
This webinar explored how applying the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) can advance the implementation of the Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-scale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication (SSF Guidelines), and what this means in the context of small-scale fisheries and their sustainability. Good practices were showcased and concrete examples presented by those directly involved and driving change. #SSFGuidelines This webinar was live streamed on June 4th as part of the series 'Small is Bountiful' in celebration of World Oceans Day 2020. The webinar series was organized by the project I am part of, the Ocean Frontier Institute, and its partner Too Big To Ignore Global Partnership for Small-Scale Fisheries Research.
