This is a beautiful location off the Trans Canada Highway. A 40 minute hike will lead you to a secluded bay with amazing views. This summer the temperatures have been considerably higher than years before. I myself have lived my entire life here in Wawa and i\\\'ve never experience such nice, hot weather. I\\\'ve been taking advantage of this weather and going to our local beaches and hikes. However, due to higher water temperature this has lead to algae growth. I have never seen algae on the coast of Lake Superior in my region. I wonder if this is due to climat change.
