Hi! Karin here. I'm a student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and constantly curious about all things maritime. While my background is in history, anthropology, and literature, and I am currently studying folklore, I am interested in how these can be linked to STEM fields such as geography, oceanography, and biology. I write poetry and would probably have been friends with some of the major Romantics if we had lived at the same time.
