In July, I joined my friends for a weekend during their marine-debris-awareness-raising circumnavigation of Vancouver Island. We had a beautiful weekend exploring islands and swimming in bioluminescence, loading up the small tender with as much marine debris as we could, and engaging with passing kayakers and campers to help raise awareness about marine debris and what we are doing to stop it.
