Living in Nova Scotia, the ocean is all around you and while large sectors of the population make their livelihoods from the ocean, there are also many who know very little of beauty and wonder that exist below the mystique of this fierce and mysterious facade. March has been all about planning how to make the ocean which I love so passionately accessible to communities who are often not the target of programs and initiatives focused ocean literacy and health.
