La baleine curieuse a voyagé de la région du Saguenay, où le fleuve Saint-Laurent se ramifie dans le golfe du Saint-Laurent et l'océan Atlantique. Les eaux autour de Montréal ne sont pas hospitalières pour ces beaux êtres, car il y a beaucoup d'activité en bateau et un manque de nourriture pour ces espèces. According to marine mammal experts in Montréal, this is the first time a humpback whale has been spotted in and around the waters of Montréal. The curious whale traveled from the Saguenay region, where the St.Lawrence river branches into the Golf of St. Lawrence and the Atlantic ocean. The waters around Montréal are not hospitable for these beautiful beings, as there is a lot of boat activity, and a lack of food availability for these species. Experts are hoping the whale will soon journey out of Montréal, and back into its favorable environment!
