This week I was able to work with community partners to install a pond leveler in a local creek. This pond leveler which was placed through the main beaver dam will help reduce the frequency and duration of the adjacent trail flooding events, and will allow lazy salmon easy access to upstream spawning grounds. No beavers were harmed during this service project.
